Sad Goodbyes and New and Prosperous Beginnings

When I was picked to be part of the Sole Representative Visa business plan for my company, I felt as if I was being sent to explore some kind of unknown territory. It was like I was going to be the first person on Mars and would have to establish a base there. My company makes smart watches, and wanted me to set up shop in the new country by establishing a new branch that would act as a jump off point for a global expansion. I knew that I had a lot of work cut out for me, but I was up to the task, and willing to give it my all for the good of the company.

The move to the new country was a bit of a challenge for me, because I have a wife. My wife and I had to decide whether she would stay behind and just wait for me to come back home after the branch was created, or come with me and start a new home in the country. After a lot of thought, we decided that it would be best for her to move with me. We had to say goodbye to all of the familiar people that we’ve known for so many years, but we did so knowing that it would result in a better life for the both of us.

Some time passed since my wife and I moved to the new country, and we had the new branch of the company up and running. By this time, the main branch of the company had created some new products that it wanted us to sell, and we put them to the test in the new country. The smart watches were a success, especially with those who like to do a lot of exercise.
